VM West successfully completed a comprehensive vegetation management project for Nevada Energy, employing our extensive experience in utility line management, hazardous fuels reduction, and forest restoration. This project was centered on enhancing community safety and protecting utility infrastructure while achieving forest management objectives.
VMW strategically deployed a dedicated “Sierra Nevada Region” team, optimizing our operational capacity to respond swiftly to NVE’s needs. With a fleet of specialized equipment, including Ponsse harvesters and helicopter logging capabilities, VMW ensured efficient operations across various challenging terrains.
The Details
Throughout the project, our expert sawyers and trained personnel implemented a meticulous operational plan, which included regular communication with NVE, local agencies, and stakeholders to minimize community impact. We utilized GIS technology for precise data entry and project tracking, allowing for transparent reporting of treatment activities.
